What is House of Bread?
House of Bread is a unique program helping under-resourced women make a fresh start through job skills training.
In an atmosphere of friendship, participants and mentors build relationships while sharing tools for restoring confidence, dignity, and hope through a six-week session.
Participants learn job and personal skills through hands-on training, coupled with emotional and spiritual support, while baking and selling bread alongside volunteer mentors from the Roanoke community.
